I don't know if its just a quirk of my setup, but if you doubleclick a shortcut 8start will appear on top of the window thats been opened (no autohide and avery stripped down XPPro installation courtesy of nlite)
You can always use the taskbar icon to bring it to focus.

I think if using showshifter's way to access 8start Launcher, the "Always on top" feature is not quite neccessary.

hm... the doubleclick-tip works.
But I think it could be a good thing anyway.

Sorry, Andygoh,
but I have now used 8start some time and I think it's a great little app (it's alomst addictive). But I'm still missing that Always-on-top-thing.
That doubleclick-tip, snowshifter mentioned, works, but it's not the same. You see, I doubleclick a folder in 8start. An explorer-window opens and 8start stays on top - fine. Now, I click on the explorer to i.e. copy a file or open it. Then, I want to open another window perhaps, to copy the file into or whatever. But hey! Where is 8start?!?
Yes, I know: "Just click on the tray icon..." - But why do I have to??
